Background

This Mom’s recipe for the best Christmas cookies ever.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups butter
  • 0.5 teaspoons vanilla
  • 0.75 cups finely ground pecans
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill and shape into small crescents. Bake on unglazed cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container between layers of wax paper.
